Massachusetts Girls’ Pint Out Founder
For those who have known me a long time, it may seem concerning that I’m heading up the Massachusetts chapter of Girls’ Pint Out. I was the vodka girl because college was, well, go hard or go home. Do you know how expensive Boston is? I’ve been in the “real world” for almost 9 (gulp) years now and let’s face it, martinis got a bit expensive for awhile. So somewhere around my third year of college I embraced a Miller Lite and never looked back. (Stop judging. You bargain shop, too.) I branched out slowly but mostly because the Sam Adams Brewery tour was free and close by. ; ) Now you can find me at a bar perusing the beer list before the wine list, making decisions on dinner based on the beer in the fridge. I will be the first to admit I am not an expert on any beer, but I’m learning (ahem, drinking AND learning). Recently sour beers and I started spending time together and it is getting VERY serious. The Boston craft beer community is amazing and growing every day, so we consider ourselves extremely lucky to be part of it all. So here in this lovely little space on the internets you’ll be finding adventures of my friends and I trying new beers, meeting new people, and trying to remember to photograph it all. Outside of Girls’ Pint Out, I’m an event planner for everything from non-profits, to beer, to national conferences. I can also be found most days on a rooftop/patio, laughing far too loudly with some of my favorite people.
