North Carolina Girls’ Pint Out

As a wee lass at Syracuse University, one of the only guarantees during those long, dark, frigid, snow-filled, winter months was the suitcase of ‘Stones for $11. God bless the beer people who realized that one of the ONLY ways to keep warm as a college student was a decent beer jacket. Until I was of legal drinking age, the only beers I felt I could stomach were the piss beers. Good thing my friends cared enough about me to introduce me to my first craft beer, ever – Magic Hat’s Circus Boy. This magical brew opened the world of New England craft beers to me and I haven’t looked back. Living in Philadelphia for 4 years, arguably the microbrewery capital of the United States, only intensified my love of craft beer and the skills that were needed to create such delectable suds. After moving back to my home state of North Carolina, my love of microbrews led me to find Jordan Price on Twitter, and the rest is history. Craft beer has created friendships with some of the most amazing ladies (and gents) I have ever come to know. As one of the newest members of NC Girls Pint Out, I’m extremely excited to fall hard into the world of NC craft beer, meet wonderful ladies who enjoy fabulous beer, and help convince others that there ARE better brews than piss beer out there!

Tailgate for Nothing 8: Pot Food!

What does the theme of "Pot Food" mean? It means that if you're so inclined, bring something delicious that you've whipped up in a pot: chili, soup, gumbo, goulash, stew, etc.

We'll be adding more details on the event in the near future, so stay tuned...
